Folkform is an award winning Swedish design group based in Stockholm, founded by industrial designers Chandra Ahlsell and Anna Holmquist. Folkform works with independent projects in the borderland between art and science, but also with clients.

“All materials derive from only 92 natural elements. How can we create new forms of expression by combining materials in new ways? Can we create new sensations by adding organic materials to granulates, fibres and pulps?
Over the centuries artefacts have come to represent the materials of their own era;clay, stone, marble, wood, canvas. How do we add new value to traditional down-to-earth materials such as masonite and paper and concrete?
What will be the result if we combine them in new ways?”
